Healthy Innocence: the natural woman, the mother, the empowerment and celebration of women. The healthy woman is comfortable with her body and feels no shame in its display.

An example of healthy innocence is Raphael’s The Madonna of the Meadows, 1505. Mary, the Mother of Christ, is the Catholic ideal woman: innocent and pure, and a dutiful mother. She embodies maternal affection for her Child, as well as for her nephew St. John. She is spotless physically and spiritually.
